Terms and Conditions
THE STUDIO
Collective Pilates Medowie (ABN 51661869808) operating inside the Medowie Sports and Business Centre, Studio 1 Ground level 58 Ferodale Road, Medowie 2318. Please read these terms and conditions (the ‘Terms’) carefully. By becoming a member on a direct debit, package, taking a class, paid or otherwise, this signifies that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by the Terms. If you do not agree with the terms, you must cease usage of the studio, or any of the services, immediately. CPM reserves the right to review and change any of the terms by updating this page at its sole discretion. When CPM updates the Terms, it will use reasonable endeavours to provide you with notice or updates to the Terms. Any changes to the terms take immediate effect from the date of their publication. Before you continue, we recommend you keep a copy of the Terms for your records.
HEALTH AND WELLBEING
Collective Pilates Medowie is committed to ensuring the health and wellbeing of all our studio clients. You are required to inform the studio and our instructors of any health risks, pre-existing injuries, illness, pregnancy, a medical condition or anything that may affect your exercise practice before starting a class. CPM recommends that you seek medical advice before participating in any classes at our studio’s. Participating in any exercise at our studio is done so at the client’s own risk.
All our instructors will use methods in which they may correct or adjust a client’s poses or exercise form, and as such might make physical contact. This type of instruction is in place to ensure safer practice and limit of injury to clients while exercising. By taking part in a class, you acknowledge that you accept this method of instruction and take part in the class at your own risk.
STUDIO ETIQUETTE
Late entry to class – with respect for your fellow class members and instructor we kindly ask that you arrive early and be ready for class at least 5 minutes prior to class starting. The instructors have the right to refuse you entering the studio if you are later than 15 mins.
Collective Pilates Medowie in no way is responsible for the safekeeping of your personal belongings while you attend class and does not assume responsibility for any lost or stolen personal property.
Should a scheduled instructor require a substitution, Collective Pilates Medowie holds the right to change.
BOOKINGS, RESCHEDULE AND CANCELLATIONS
Bookings can be made using the online booking system at www.collectivepilatesmedowie.com.au or via the acuity scheduling client app.
If you can no longer attend a class, we ask that you cancel your booking as soon as possible to give someone else an opportunity to attend.
You must cancel or reschedule 6 hours prior to class commencement to avoid incurring a late fee. The late fee is the total value of the class pass used for the booking of that class.
Collective Pilates Medowie reserves the right to cancel a class at their discretion. You will be contacted by either phone, email, or SMS at least 2 hours before the commencement of the class. You will not be charged, and your session will be re-credited to your account.
SCHEDULE CHANGES
Collective Pilates Medowie reserves the right to make changes to class schedule, instructors and prices at anytime.
PERSONAL BELONGINGS
You are responsible for the loss, theft or breakage of any personal belongings you bring into the studio. We recommend not bringing valuable items into sessions, such as phones, jewellery, wallets or purses.
REFUNDS
Class passes and packages are non-refundable and non-transferable.
CASUAL CLASS PASSES
Class Passes allow you to choose from one of our packages displayed on the website (www.collectivepilatesmedowie.com.au) and Acuity Scheduling Client app (collectivepilatesmedowie.as.me).
You can purchase either:
A single class pass at a fixed price with an expiry date of 1 month from date of purchase;
5 class passes at a fixed price with an expiry date of 3 months from date of purchase;
10 class passes at a fixed price with an expiry date of 6 months from the date of purchase; and
20 class passes at a fixed price with an expiry date of 12 months from the date of purchase.
You acknowledge and agree that if you fail to redeem your purchased Class Pass or package before the period of expiry has ended will result in forfeiture of those class passes.
You acknowledge and understand that under no circumstances is Collective Pilates Medowie under any obligation to refund, cancel, transfer your Class Pass/s to a third party or extend the expiry date.
WEEKLY MEMBERSHIP
Weekly Membership allows you to choose from one of our auto-renew direct debit plans available from our website (collectivepilatesmedowie.com.au) and Acuity Scheduling Client app (collectivepilatesmedowie.as.me).
You can purchase either:
Collective Duo This is a fixed weekly auto-renew direct debit plan. It entitles you to 2 x 45 minute group fitness classes to book each week. The class codes are reactivated each week and can be booked within the 4-week scheduling calendar. Membership starts from the date of purchase and can be terminated at any time by the membership holder. Unused class passes within the same 7-day subscription period do not roll over into the following week and cannot accumulate. You are not guaranteed the same regular classes each week and will depend on what is available at the time when booking a class.
This subscription type is more suitable for clients who are flexible with class times, as the pre-booking option is not available and regular class days/times are not guaranteed.
Collective Unlimited at a fixed weekly auto-renew direct debit price plan that entitles you to unlimited group fitness classes per week as per the latest published group fitness class timetable and subject to availability. The group fitness class timetable is available on the website (collectivepilatesmedowie.com.au) and Acuity Scheduling Client app (collectivepilatesmedowie.as.me). Membership starts from date of purchase and can be terminated at any time by the membership holder.
PAYMENT
You agree and acknowledge that payment of Weekly Memberships and Class Passes may be made using third payment gateways, such as Stripe and Square (the Payment Gateway Providers). When signing up to Pay, you agree that you have familiarised yourself with, and agree to be bound by, the applicable Terms and Conditions of Use, Privacy Policy and other relevant legal documentation provided by the Payment Gateway Provider prior to you using the Payment Gateway Provider.
By nominating a credit or debit account, you are authorising us or the Payment Gateway Provider to deduct from that account fees associated with the classes and this Agreement.
You acknowledge that where a request for the payment of the Fees is late, returned or denied, for whatever reason, by your financial institution or is unpaid by you for any other reason, then you are liable for any costs, including banking fees and charges, associated with the processing fee.
